BAMBI'S MOM IN GOLDEN FLEECE (2016)

Sculpture made from an industrial deer figurine, entirely coated in black wax and adorned with beadwork techniques inspired by Huichol and Bamileke traditions. Incorporating beads, pearls, shells, and hair, the beaded object features symbolic motifs such as halos and mandorlas, multiple eyes, and a stylized skeleton.
